The Eye Center

Primary Goal
Create and deliver marketing collateral to notify existing patients of Dr. Farr and existing patients of the Eye Center that Dr. Farr was leaving Lenscrafters and moving to the Eye Center.
Process
The first step was to procure a list of patients that would be due for an eye exam within the next 3 months (between September and November) using the office’s CRM system. Using Photoshop and Vistaprint, I created and mailed out a postcard that notified these patients that Dr. Farr had moved. Flyers with the address and contact information (including a QR code that would automatically pull the address up in Google Maps when scanned) for the Eye Center were also created and distributed to notify patients while Dr. Farr was still practicing at Lenscrafters. Additionally, I helped write and send out via email a newsletter from the former owner of the practice, Dr. Stacy, that informed his patients of the changes at the practice. I had to work quickly to ensure that patients would receive the postcards and flyers prior to Dr. Farr moving to the Eye Center on October 1st, 2019.
Challenges
The largest challenge was planning and achieving good results while efficiently reaching patients with a very minimal marketing budget.
Results
Ultimately, the Eye Center saw a notable and positive response due to my efforts, with the postcards in particular delivering great results. This has prompted the Eye Center to continue with these efforts as their budget allows.
